Because of its accomplishment in building one of the top all-electric demonstration cars in the U.S.A., Potential Difference has received an Exclusive License for patents and know-how for Rapid Battery Charging Technology from a major university, whose tests demonstrated that even lead acid batteries can be recharged in as little as 15 minutes. Lithium ion time is projected to be 10 to 15 minutes.  Battery life is not sacrificed, but is actually increased. We are in the process of prototyping the technology.

This technology positions us to affect the entire electric vehicle industry, starting with the existing $700 million industrial electric vehicle charger market for lead acid batteries and growing with the emerging electric automobile charger market for lithium ion and lead acid batteries, using our demonstration car as one of the test beds.
